The new G5 iMac
The Apple site hasd pictures of the new G5 iMac. "The entire computer, including a G5-based logic board, slot-loading optical drive, hard disk, speakers, and even the power supply — dwells inside the enchanting display."

Tip of the week - get text from PDFs
If Preview detects Adobe's security settings in a PDF it will disable Edit=>Copy and ask for a password. The problem with this type of localised security is that you can easily bypass it by getting the information via the OS rather than via the app that you're using to view the information.
This doesn't require hacking or scripting either - because Apple have provided all the tools that you need in the Finder and they are staring you right in the face :-)
Open a protected PDF in Preview and select the text that you want to copy (make sure you have the text tool selected (command-2). Press control-c so that you can prove that Preview is honouring the copy protection.
Go to Preview=>Services and you'll find a number of options that are available to bypass the copy protection:
Select any of the above and the selected text will be faithfully copied to whatever destination you chose. No need for retyping, OCR or proper hacking.
Remember: You are only entitled to quote limited amounts of text from a document - this tip should not be used to copy text from documents without an author's permission.
