Fit for pre-press work? I don't think so.
Here's a picture of my brand new Cinema Display.
It's showing me a black RGB image set to full screen display in Adobe Photoshop:
Look at those ugly light patches caused by pressure on the panel :-(
My camera has exagerated them a little, but it's a pretty faithful rendition.
There I was praising the lovely design... the plastic surrounds never caused problems this bad.
